Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with a deep copper glow and subtle mahogany undertones.
Nose
Delicate peat smoke lingers above a coastal breeze, carried on vanilla-soaked barley and honeyed sweetness. Bright citrus zest cuts through, while a whisper of sea spray and brine adds saline nuance, with subtle iodine and heather lending a refined, coastal complexity.
Palate
Soft coastal peat at 14ppm mingles with honeyed malt, vanilla and toffee. A saline breeze carries citrus zest and almond, while whispers of cocoa and spice deepen the mid-palate. The peat remains elegant and balanced, delivering a long, silky finish with subtle oak.
Finish
Long, refined finish where coastal peat wraps around sherry-softened fruit, fading to vanilla, toasted almond and cocoa. A whisper of sea salt lingers, leaving a warm, contemplative glow on the palate.
