At an impressive 8 years of age, this release is a lavish and luxurious vatting of entirely unpeated Ardnamurchan distillate. It has been finished for 30 months in ex-Sauternes wine barriques, adding a unique depth and complexity.
This release is bottled at a strength of 50%, which perfectly showcases the distinctive Ardnamurchan character while maintaining a refined elegance. The total production is approximately 6,000 bottles.

Colour
Golden amber with honeyed warmth and coppery glints.
Nose
Ripe apricot and honeyed peach rise from the glass, threaded with Sauternes sweetness. Vanilla, custard, and almond; a touch of toffee and orange blossom add elegance. Subtle oak and a whisper of spice frame the fruit-forward aroma, with a refined, velvety depth.
Palate
Silky and honeyed, the palate opens with apricot and peach fruit, kissed by sun-warmed citrus and creamy vanilla. Sauternes depth coats the malt with marmalade, fig and almond, while a subtle brioche echo adds elegance. The unpeated spirit remains refined and smooth, with gentle spice and oak weaving through. A long, poised finish of wine sweetness and soft warmth lingers effortlessly.
Finish
Opulent and long, the finish drapes the palate in Sauternes honey, apricot and quince, entwined with creamy vanilla and toasted oak. A delicate spice carries through to a velvet fade, leaving a refined, dessert-wine sweetness that lingers.
