Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden straw with warm honey-amber depth and a sunlit glow.
Nose
Bright orchard fruit—pear, crisp apple and a kiss of white peach—opens with creamy vanilla and a touch of honey. Champagne Paul Launois barrique adds a brioche‑like sweetness and a whisper of toast, while subtle oak spice and mineral lift keep the aroma lively. Fresh, elegant, and wine‑driven, it hints at richness without overpowering the spirit.
Palate
On the palate, orchard-fresh pear and green apple unfold into creamy sweetness and vanilla, crowned by a lift of citrus. The Champagne Paul Launois finish lends wine-driven richness that gently coats the mouth, while subtle spice and oak provide structure. A hint of bourbon-derived fruitiness deepens the mid-palate, yielding a vibrant, well-balanced Highland malt with a long, refined finish.
Finish
Silky, wine-kissed finish that lingers with orchard fruit and creamy sweetness. Champagne Paul Launois barriques lend a refined vinous warmth, weaving subtle spice and delicate oak into a long, polished echo of fruit and a touch of almond.
