Ardnamurchan distillery is situred in the beautiful, but very isolated Ardnamurchan peninsula and is near the most westerly point of the British mainland.
This is Ardnamurchan’s 2023 cask strength release which uses both peated and unpeated spirit matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper highlights and a warm, reddish-gold edge.
Nose
Peat smoke mingles with creamy vanilla and a bright lemon tart, creating an inviting, coastal nose that hints at the whisky’s layered depth.
Palate
Orchard fruits flood the palate with bright juiciness, tempered by a white pepper kick and a coastal seaweed brine. At cask strength, the warmth lingers into a saline, maritime finish, with a subtle sweetness from the bourbon and sherry cask influence.
Finish
Long, maritime finish where peat smoke lingers alongside orchard fruit, vanilla and white pepper. Sea-salt, seaweed and a whisper of sherry sweetness fade into a warming, drying finale.
