Ardnamurchan Ten Year Old is bottled at 50% ABV and non-chill-filtered. While the entire bottling is made up of unpeated distillate matured in first-fill bourbon casks, roughly half of the batch was subsequently finished for over one year in Champagne Paul Launois barriques.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden straw with a warm honey-amber glow.
Nose
The nose pours forth tropical warmth: ripe mangoes and pineapple cubes, kissed with honey. Baked bananas, brown sugar, figs and wine gums unfold, while time reveals richer notes of crème caramel, toffee, and delicate meringues with white chocolate.
Palate
On the palate, honey persists with linseed oil freshness, flanked by warming spices and gingerbread. Fresh pineapple and cedar emerge, coated in an oily, waxy mouthfeel that reveals great depth and complexity.
Finish
Long, honeyed and softly spiced, the finish lingers with vanilla and cedar, backed by waxy oiliness. Subtle tropical fruit returns with a touch of toffee, while a delicate champagne-bright lift from the barrique finish keeps the sweetness refined and persistent.
