Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with sunlit honey highlights and bronze-tinged edges, a warm, opulent hue reminiscent of sunset whisky in a crystal glow.
Nose
Opulent, unpeated aromas rise in waves: vanilla-laced custard and warm brioche from Champagne barriques, mingling with ripe pear and green apple, kissed by citrus zest. Subtle white flowers, almond and creamy oak add polish, delivering a poised, sunny sweetness that hints at its Highland, coastal identity.
Palate
Layered and opulent, this cask-strength single malt coats the palate with creamy vanilla, caramel and nutty toffee, entwined with orchard fruit and a bright citrus lift. Bourbon influence yields warm spice and polished oak, while the Champagne barrique finish introduces brioche, white fruit and a delicate, champagne-esque acidity. The result is a richly balanced, one-of-a-kind Highland dram with refined elegance and lingering length.
Finish
Elegant, champagne-inspired finish that lingers with a subtle, celebratory sparkle. Creamy vanilla and brioche unfold into citrus zest and orchard fruit, lightly tempered by a refined mineral lift and a hint of toasted oak. A long, balanced finale that sustains a fresh, refined sweetness on the palate.
