Ardmore Whiskyland Chapter 36 Single Malt Scotch Whisky 41 Year Old · 1985 Vintage
In stock
Whiskyland Chapter Thirty Six is an exceptionally mature Ardmore single malt distilled in 1985 and matured for 41 years in a single refill hogshead. Bottled at its natural cask strength of 45.3% ABV, the cask produced just 102 bottles. Drawn from the same parcel as Whiskyland Chapter Twenty Five, this particular cask was deliberately retained until last, having been regarded by Decadent Drinks as the standout example from the group.
More than four decades in restrained refill wood have allowed Ardmore’s old-style Highland character to remain remarkably clear. The whisky combines mature waxiness with delicate peat, mineral notes and bright citrus, delivering considerable age without appearing tired or overly oak-driven.
