Nose

Powerfully smoky and maritime, this Ardbeg opens with peat, iodine and sea-salt brine—like a wind-swept Islay quay. Beneath, medicinal notes and tar mingle with sherry-toned oak, dark dried fruits and a whisper of cocoa, while a bright citrus zest pierces the depth. The nose is bold, mineral, and distinctly Ardbeg in character.

Palate

Intense coastal peat and smoky embers flood the palate, with iodine, medicinal tang and mineral brine finely knit to dark sherry fruit: fig, prune and cocoa. Subtle leather, espresso hints and a delicate vanilla-resin sweetness emerge, then linger into a long, warming finish of ash, pepper and saline smoke.

Finish

An exceptionally long, maritime finish where peat smoke lingers like sea spray, mingling with mineral bite and a gentle sherry sweetness. Dried fig, cocoa and spice weave through the smoke, tapering to a warm, peppery ember that slowly fades to ash.
