Tasting Notes
Colour
Pale golden straw with a sunlit, honey-warm glow.
Nose
Rich vanilla and caramel lead the nose, crowned by creamy custard and warm oak. Orchard fruits and honey mingle with delicate spice, a touch of almond and citrus zest. Unpeated and vibrant, the high ABV lifts the aroma into a sun-kissed bourbon-cask glow.
Palate
Warm and creamy on the palate, with vanilla, caramel and toffee from the bourbon cask. Subtle orchard fruit and citrus lift the sweetness, while soft oak and spice weave through the mid-palate. The 61.6% ABV provides a confident, warming backbone that lingers with peppery warmth and a gentle, sweet oak finish.
Finish
An enduring, luxurious finish of creamy vanilla and caramel, sharpened by bourbon-spice—cinnamon, clove and a hint of white pepper. Oak tannins coat the palate, delivering a warm, mouth-filling fade that softens to citrus zest and a trace of almond as it lingers.
