Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich golden-amber with coppery glints and a warm mahogany undertone.
Nose
Bright citrus peel and orchard fruit rise on the nose, layered with vanilla, honeyed barley and almond. Subtle sherry richness and toasted oak weave through, touched by gentle spice and a warming, spirited glow from the 60% ABV.
Palate
Bright and malt-forward, the palate opens with citrus zest, green apple and honeyed sweetness, then vanilla and oak rise with a touch of biscuit. Subtle dried-fruit and sherry-spice deepen the profile, while a warm, lingering finish carries the bold high-ABV backbone.
Finish
Long, warming finish with sherry-dark sweetness: fig and raisin, cocoa, and toasted oak, threaded by gentle spice. The richness lingers, leaving a velvet glow that invites another sip.
