Sherry-soaked richness on the nose: dark raisins, prune and fig, with molten toffee and orange zest. Cocoa, toasted almond and a whisper of leather mingle with polished oak, while cinnamon and clove spices drift in the background, hinting at a long, noble maturity.
Palate
Silky and weighty on the palate, this 30-year-old Aberlour pours a lush sherry sweetness with dark cherry, raisin, and dried fig, kissed by orange zest and toasted almond. Nutty toffee, cinnamon and cocoa mingle with oak, finishing in a warm, velvety sweep of fruitcake, spice and lingering sherry sweetness.
Finish
An opulent, long finish that glides with warm sherry sweetness—figs, raisins and orange zest—woven with dark chocolate, espresso and toffee. Spiced, nutty oak lingers, fading to elegant leather and toasted almond, leaving a refined, persistent warmth.
