The whisky for this single cask Aberfeldy bottling was distilled in 1996 and was specially selected by the members of The W Club and also The Whisky Shop Edinburgh Staff in March 2013 as an exclusive to The Whisky Shop release.

Colour
Golden honey with a warm, sunlit amber glow.
Nose
Vanilla-forward and inviting, the aroma unfolds with stewed orchard fruits and a warm, resonant oak backbone. Subtle honeyed notes and gentle spice weave through the bouquet, a rich, slightly resinous sweetness hinting at the cask-strength depth to come.
Palate
Full-bodied and warming, this Aberfeldy floods the palate with vanilla cream, baked apple and ripe plum. Stewed fruit sweetness lingers, lifted by gentle oak spice and a hint of cinnamon. At cask strength, it coats with a subtly oily texture, finishing long with toffee, orchard fruit and a warming whisper of oak.
Finish
Long, warming finish with vanilla and stewed-fruit sweetness fading into toasty oak. Subtle spice lingers as the high-strength spirit dissolves, leaving a persistent orchard-fruit echo and warm oak.
