Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold shimmer and mahogany edges.
Nose
Sweet dried fruits and chile chocolate from the sherry cask rise on the nose, with mizunara depth lending a mature, complex perfume and a distinctly spicy edge.
Palate
On the palate, a luxurious weave of sweet dried fruits—raisin and fig—complements chile-chocolate from the sherry cask. Mizunara depth brings maturity, weaving spicy, resinous notes through a distinctly tannic, warming texture. The finish reveals rum-and-raisin richness—dark and velvety, lingering as a superb digestif.
Finish
Long, luxurious and dark, the finish pours out rum-raisin sweetness layered with cacao-dusted dried fruit. Spicy mizunara tannins mingle with sherry depth, leaving a warm, resinous backbone that slowly dries to a refined, elegant digestif, with wisps of oak lingering.
