Inspired by the greatest Bordeaux châteaux and Champagne houses, Cuvée Concepts are our most complex and creative single malts. Our oldest vintages of Biodynamic barley – 2018 and 2019 – separately distilled and matured then layered by Head Distiller Ned like a single malt millefeuille. Each vintage brings its own unique characters; a harmony greater than the sum of its considerable parts.

Nose

Green apple, hay, malted biscuits, white pepper, peaches, barnyard, cherry tomatoes, dry soil, light herbal tea, breadcrust, birch.

Palate

Pepper spice, dry, breakfast cereals, chewable, lemon curd, pesto, green peppers, porridge with cream, malted biscuits, herbal tea, grapefruit.

Finish

Creamy, gentle spices with dryness that turns herbal and lingers into an Irish goodbye.

Waterford
Waterford was founded in 2015 by Mark Reynier in a converted former Guinness brewery in the city of Waterford. Reynier had previously led the revival of Bruichladdich on Islay, and he built Waterford around the idea that barley variety, soil and microclimate should be treated as part of whisky flavour rather than as interchangeable raw material. Waterford distilled its first spirit in 2016 and released its first whiskies in 2020.
