Undisclosed Speyside (M) Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection Single Cask #29 Whisky 17 Year Old · 2005 Vintage
Out of stock
Distilled at Speyside’s most prestigious distillery, close to the banks of the River Spey, just outside the village of Aberlour.
This full bodied, richly sherried single malt whisky was matured in a single 1st fill Oloroso Sherry cask, before being bottled at cask strength, unchill-filtered, with no added colour.
Although the distillery in undisclosed, we can confirm that it begins with the letter M, and would be a favourite of Mr Bond.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, rich amber with copper-gold highlights and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Opulent sherry aroma of dark fruits—prune, fig, raisin—balanced with orange zest, toffee and cocoa. Spices rise in cinnamon and clove, paired with toasted oak; hints of almond and leather emerge, brushed by a whisper of molasses sweetness.
Palate
Opulently full-bodied and richly sherried, this Speyside coats the palate with raisin, fig, date, and dark chocolate, touched by espresso. Spices unfold—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—alongside toasted oak and a whisper of leather. At cask strength it stays warming, delivering a long finish of dried fruit, cocoa, and spice.
Finish
Long, opulent finish of rich Oloroso sherry: dark plum and raisin mingle with fig, cocoa and toasted almond. Vanilla and spice weave through the warmth, with a final echo of tobacco and oak that lingers, fading to a silky, cocoa-dusted dryness.
