Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a toffee-tinged mahogany edge; a warm, sun-kissed glow that hints at sherry influence and well-aged oak.
Nose
Fresh mint unfurls over a delicate veil of smoke, with sherry-cask depth lending dried fruit, cocoa and spice. Bourbon influence brings vanilla sweetness and creamy notes, all wrapped in polished oak with a coastal Orkney breeze.
Palate
Full, luscious and mouth-coating, this unfolds with creamy vanilla and toffee from the ex-Bourbon casks, layered with dark dried-fruit sweetness from the sherry influence. Fresh mint lifts the mid-palate as a delicate coastal smoke threads through. Rich, silky texture, balanced spice, and a long, minty, smoky finish that lingers.
Finish
Long, luscious finish with cool mint and faint smoke, slowly easing into warm oak and a gentle sherry-tinged sweetness.
