The cask-strength glow gives a rich, resinous backbone to a luxuriously warm, inviting bouquet.

Palate

Full-bodied and sherried at cask strength, this drinks with dark plum and raisin richness, treacle and orange zest. Silky oak frames espresso and dark chocolate, while warming notes of cinnamon and clove ebb into a long, resinous finish that coats the palate with honeyed spice and a touch of pepper.

Finish

Opulent and long, the finish bears a bold sherry influence. Dried fruit—raisins and fig—fades into orange zest, cocoa and warm spice. Rich oak and espresso linger, with cinnamon and clove threading through, fading to toasted wood and a whisper of almond.
