This small batch release from The English Whisky Company is matured in Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks from Portugal. At 11 years of age, it is one of the oldest releases from this young distillery, and comprised just 885 bottles. Flavours of rich dark fruits, apricot, and caramelised raisins are complimented by bold, woody spice.

Colour
Deep copper-amber with mahogany undertones and a warm, wine-dark glow.
Nose
Aromas open with lush dark fruit and ripe apricot, tempered by caramelised raisins. Subtle hints of cedar and toasted spice weave through the richness, while a warm, woody backbone from the Cabernet Sauvignon casks lends depth and character.
Palate
Silky, medium-full palate of dark fruits—plum, blackberry and apricot—woven with caramelised raisin. Cabernet cask maturity delivers wine-dark sweetness, while bold woody spice and toasted oak provide structure, finishing warm, lingering and refined.
Finish
Long, wine-forward finish with dark plum and black cherry evolving into apricot and caramelized raisin sweetness. Cabernet-soaked tannins and cocoa-spice create a warm, oak-kissed echo that lingers, slowly fading to velvety fruit and subtle wood.
