Our ‘18’ provides strawberries and cream on the palate – the perfect dram to reward yourself after a day of exploring a new path or taking on a new adventure. Easy-to-drink neat, or over ice with raspberry and dry vermouth in our suggested cocktail.

Colour

Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm mahogany edge.

Nose

Crisp apples and blueberries mingle with candied citrus peel, while raisins and toasted almonds are crowned with brown sugar—a warm, inviting bouquet hinting at sweetness and subtle complexity.

Palate

Banana, milk chocolate and hazelnut weave with luscious strawberries and cream, a creamy, indulgent palate that glides smoothly. A gentle spice wends through, leaving a soft, warm finish.

Finish

Fresh lime, mint and a hint of pepper.

The Cairn Distillery
The Cairn Distillery sits at Craggan, just outside Grantown-on-Spey, in the Cairngorms National Park. Opened by Gordon & MacPhail in 2022, it is the company’s second distillery after Benromach and draws on more than a century of whisky maturation and bottling experience. The building was designed to sit within its Highland setting, with features such as a turf roof and landscaping intended to blend into the surrounding environment.
