Colour

Deep amber with coppery glow and mahogany undertones.

Nose

Red apples, cinnamon and cloves rise in a fragrant swirl, brightened by orange marmalade. Roasted walnuts add a toasty, comforting depth.

Palate

Raspberry and crisp apple drive the palate, with a peppery lift. Sweet and spicy, it unfolds into tangy chocolate orange, leaving a lively, indulgent finish.

Finish

Fruity and orchard-bright, the finish unfolds with a warming, spicy oak grip. Peppery warmth lingers with toasted wood, leaving a fruit-forward glow.

The Cairn Distillery
The Cairn Distillery sits at Craggan, just outside Grantown-on-Spey, in the Cairngorms National Park. Opened by Gordon & MacPhail in 2022, it is the company’s second distillery after Benromach and draws on more than a century of whisky maturation and bottling experience. The building was designed to sit within its Highland setting, with features such as a turf roof and landscaping intended to blend into the surrounding environment.
