Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights.
Nose
Caramelized sugar and molasses mingle with tropical fruit—coconut, banana and sweet peach—lifted by Glen Scotia’s signature oils. A coastal breeze carries sea spray, ripe fruit and gentle spice, enriched by the rum-cask finish. Subtle vanilla and sun-warmed oak linger, inviting the next encounter with aroma.
Palate
Silky, syrupy and slightly oily on the palate, with Demerara molasses and cooked sugar forming a lush backbone. Tropical fruit notes—coconut, banana and ripe peach—shine, balanced by Glen Scotia’s maritime oils and a whisper of sea spray. Gentle spice lingers, maintaining refined, sun-warmed sweetness.
Finish
Demerara-kissed and long: molasses and cooked sugar linger, threaded with tropical notes of coconut, banana and peach. Rich oils carry a maritime breath—sea salt and light spice—ending in a warm, oak-glazed, rum-kissed fade that lingers with refined sweetness.
