Crafted for those seeking an unforgettable whisky experience, this heavily peated whisky was aged in bourbon barrels, with an additional 5 month finishing in premium Ribera del Duero red wine casks.
A distinctive maritime character is overlaid with peat smoke, giving a spirit truly representative of the Glen Scotia distillery character. The finish develops the once tropical notes into ripe red fruit, juicy blackberry and a whisper of liquorice, each layer adding depth to its complex character.
