The Distillers Editions are an annual release of the finest single malts, double-matured in batches using individually prepared casks that have held a specially selected fortified wine, chosen to complement the characteristics of each mature whisky. The result is a range of sublime, deeply flavoured single malt whiskies, very much true to their origins, yet possessing a rich depth, complexity and nuance of flavour.

Tasting Notes
Colour
A deep, sunlit amber-gold with coppery glints and a whisper of mahogany.
Nose
Briny sea spray and peat smoke rise with a refined sherry lift. Dark fruits—fig, prune and raisin—drift with vanilla, toffee and a hint of orange zest. Maritime and smoky, yet luxuriously warm, this nose hints at depth, balance and coastal complexity.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, the palate blends maritime peat with briny sweetness. Dried plum and fig rise from sherry influence, with cocoa, orange zest and peppery spice. A long, smoky, saline finish lingers, carrying hints of oak and dark chocolate.
Finish
Long, velvety finish where Talisker’s coastal peat lingers with rich sherry sweetness. Sea-salt and charred wood give way to dried fruit, dark chocolate and candied citrus, with a steady peppery warmth that remains, fading into a refined, smoky finale.
