Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with burnished copper highlights and a mahogany edge.
Nose
An opulent, time-worn aroma of sultana and fig drenched in sherry, with orange peel and toasted almond. Rich malt sweetness carries hints of toffee, cocoa, and Christmas spice, while antique leather and polished oak lend depth. A gentle wisp of smoke threads through, promising refined Speyside restraint.
Palate
Silky and waxy on the palate, with raisin and fig sweetness tempered by dried orange peel and delicate malt. A gentle sherry lift brings walnut, toffee and cocoa, while oak spice lingers into a long, refined finish.
Finish
Silky, long finish that unfurls with dried fruit and gentle sherry sweetness, pairing figs, raisin and orange zest with toasted almond. Subtle spice—nutmeg and clove—follows, cloaked by soft oak and vanilla, fading to a warm, resinous echo that lingers with refined sophistication.
