Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery edges and a touch of mahogany
Nose
Coastal peat smoke rides a sea-salted breeze, wrapped in warm malt. Dried figs and raisins mingle with sherry sweetness, cocoa and toffee, while vanilla and oak add gentle richness. A whisper of iodine and waxy resin lends maritime bite, finishing with subtle spice and an impression of age and depth.
Palate
Oil-rich and resinous, the palate opens with coastal peat and brine, balanced by mellow sherry sweetness. Dark fruit—fig and raisin—mingle with cocoa, orange zest and spice, carried on a waxy, mouth-coating texture. The finish is long and warming, with toasted oak, a touch of leather, and a subtle medicinal undertone that lingers gracefully.
Finish
Long, maritime finish with coastal peat and briny sea spray lingering alongside sherry-dark fruit, cocoa and toasted oak. The peat remains gentle but persistent, entwined with fig and raisin sweetness, finishing with warm spice and dry tannins that echo the coastal breeze.
