Springbank released the Millennium Malt series in 1998–2001 to mark the turn of the millennium.
The series included six separate age statements: 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50 years - each showcasing the distillery’s traditional style: lightly peated, oily, complex, and maritime in character. Presented in elegant wooden cases, the Millennium Malt set has since become one of the most coveted Springbank releases among collectors.

Nose
Coastal perfume of lightly peated barley, waxy malt and sea breeze. Briny sea spray, citrus zest and vanilla fold into polished oak, with subtle iodine and mineral salt giving a saline lift. Elegant, complex, and unmistakably Springbank in its maritime, old-world charm.
Palate
Silky and oily, with a gentle peat smoke riding a maritime, briny core. Mineral depth lingers as evolving notes of sweetness mingle with coastal salt and subtle citrus zest, supported by quiet oak integration. A complex, evolving palate that finishes long and saline.
Finish
Long, maritime finish, briny and mineral with a whisper of peat smoke. The oiliness coats the mouth, revealing aged oak, faint citrus zest, and lingering sweetness that slowly fades into a refined, polished dryness.
