Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep mahogany with coppery-bronze shimmer and a warm amber core, edged by ruby-tinged highlights that glow with a refined, sherry-influenced richness.
Nose
Opulent sherry warmth unfurls with raisins, fig and baked orange, glazed with toffee and cocoa. Rich oak flesh supports dense fruit, while a gentle peat smoke threads through the sweetness. A kiss of sea air and mineral marina adds saline lift, then leather and spice deepen the complexity. Velvet, aged, and unmistakably Springbank in character.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied and slightly waxy, the palate unfolds with coastal peat and sea-salt brine, weaving a core of dried fruit, cocoa and caramel. Sherry hints bring fig, orange zest and warm spice, while a mineral oak grip adds finesse. The finish lingers with smoke, leather and a saline, maritime edge.
Finish
Long, maritime finish with peppery peat and sherried sweetness. Oak spice lingers with dark chocolate and dried fruit, edged by saline minerals that cling to the palate, fading to smoke and lasting warmth.
