Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and mahogany edges, a sherry-warmed glow that hints at richness and depth.
Nose
Opulent sherry-soaked perfume with dark fruit—fig, prune and raisin—mingling with orange zest and burnt sugar. Roasted almond, toffee and cocoa drift through, buoyed by warm spices of cinnamon and clove, while a subtle marine salt and whisper of smoke frame the finish.
Palate
Opulent sherry sweetness coats the palate, unfolding with fig, dried plum and candied orange, intertwined with dark chocolate. Silky, velvety textures mingle with subtle coastal peat and warm spice, accented by polished oak. A gentle maritime kiss threads through, building to a long, warming finish of treacle, espresso notes, and citrus zest.
Finish
Extends with velvet warmth, as prune and fig sweetness deepen into cocoa and orange zest from the sherry cask. Nutmeg and clove spice build, while a saline whisper and oak persistence linger, yielding a long, refined finish that invites slow savoring.
