An older style bottling of a 15 year Springbank (probably pre 2005). Chocolate, apple, prune, light peat and spicy wood on the nose. The palate carries some red fruit, vanilla and more smoke alligned with a savoury damp earth note. The finish is medium long with a spicy, herby, oaky end.
