Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich golden amber with copper-bronze highlights and a deep mahogany edge, a warm, sunlit glow that hints at sherry-influenced maturation.
Nose
Earthy, loamy aromas lead into bright citrus zest—lemon and orange—framed by Springbank’s iconic character: maritime hints, a gentle touch of peat, and a subtle sherry sweetness.
Palate
On the palate, earthy depth and bright citrus take the lead, with orange zest and lemon peel carried on a waxy, maritime texture. Subtle peat smoke threads through tempered sherry sweetness—dried fruit, almond, and spice—coating the palate before a long, saline finish and refined oak backbone.
Finish
Long and contemplative, the finish carries earthy undertones with a bright citrus lift that lingers. A whisper of peat and coastal brine threads through toasted oak, while a subtle sherry sweetness remains, aging gracefully into a refined, resonant afterglow.
