A distinctive malt from the Spirit of Yorkshire distillery that spent its first years in bourbon casks before moving to shaved, toasted and re-charred red wine barriques from Rioja to finish.

Spirit of Yorkshire
Spirit of Yorkshire was founded in 2016 by farmer and brewer Tom Mellor and business partner David Thompson. Based in Hunmanby, near Filey on the Yorkshire coast, it grew from the Mellor family’s farming background and Wold Top Brewery, using home-grown barley and local water to create Yorkshire’s first single malt whisky.
