This cask took a slightly unconventional route into the Wolfpack. It was acquired from a lady in Australia who had inherited it from her late husband, who had quietly set it aside many years before. The whisky had spent its entire maturation at the distillery, tucked so deeply into the warehouse that retrieving it became something of an ordeal.
What was meant to be a straightforward collection turned into a near year-long effort before the cask finally saw daylight again. The artwork for this release comes from Codo, who delivered something effortlessly cool for a whisky that clearly had no intention of leaving home in a hurry.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, sun-gilded amber with luminous copper highlights and a whisper of mahogany at the rim, like late-afternoon light poured into a crystal decanter.
Nose
A vibrant burst of tropical fruit fills the glass—mango sherbet, guava, and passionfruit ice cream mingle with bright pink grapefruit. Subtle sweet oak and a hint of stewed rhubarb provide depth and balance.
Palate
Lush and playful, a tropical-fruit medley of mango, passionfruit and pink grapefruit leads the palate. Honeyed sweetness threads through, while a minty undertone lends restrained structure to the exuberance.
Finish
Medium in length and characterful, the finish lingers with passionfruit, honey, and citrus. It drifts away on a warm tropical breeze, leaving a bright, slightly mischievous impression.
