As far as Scapa's go, this is the most complex we've ever tasted and gives an equivalent Highland Park a run for its money.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold warmth and a subtle mahogany edge.
Nose
Sherry-kissed and opulent, this Scapa unfolds dark prune and fig with toffee, salted caramel and cocoa nibs. Orange zest and vanilla glow over rich oak, with whispers of leather and warm spice (nutmeg, clove). A delicate maritime breeze and sea-salt lift the bouquet, giving a coastal sheen to a remarkably complex aroma.
Palate
Full, velvety palate with a warm, generous mouthfeel from the 54% ABV. Rich sherry-cask sweetness frames dark fruit compote—prune, fig, raisin—balanced by cacao, toffee and burnt sugar. Spices—clove and cinnamon—linger atop a mahogany oak backbone, while a maritime whisper keeps it tethered. The finish is long and languid, with caramel, almond and a savoury, lightly saline depth.
Finish
Long, velvety finish bathed in sherry warmth, with waves of date and fig sweetness, dark chocolate and toasted almond, kissed by orange zest. Subtle maritime brine threads through oak and spice, gradually fading to a warm, enduring glow.
