Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with sunlit copper highlights and a warm, honey-gold sheen.
Nose
Elegant, maritime nose with bright citrus zest and orchard fruit—apples and pears—laced with honeyed vanilla and a hint of almond. Subtle sherry sweetness weaves through toasted oak, delicate spice, and a touch of cocoa, while a whisper of sea breeze and saline notes keeps the aroma buoyant and refined.
Palate
Silky and balanced, the palate carries sherried fruit—dried apricot and fig—alongside creamy vanilla and almond. A citrus lift keeps it bright, with subtle oak adding spice and a whisper of maritime salt. Smooth, medium-bodied, and long, finishing with warm toffee and a touch of resin, without peat.
Finish
Elegant, medium-long finish with sherry-dark fruit and warm spice. Dried apricot and fig mingle with cocoa, vanilla and toasted oak, while a whisper of sea salt lingers. Finishes with refined dryness and a final echo of the cask.
