Colour

Rich amber-gold with honeyed warmth and coppery glints, deepening toward mahogany at the rim.

Nose

Stewed fruit with lemon peel opens the nose, unfurling into brown sugar, banana and cinnamon—a warmly dessert-like aroma with gentle spice.

Palate

Sweet sultanas and dates move into gingerbread, toffee apples and malted biscuit, delivering a toasted, comforting malt with a gentle spice.

Finish

Medium-bodied finish with lingering spice and sweet treacle toffee.

Scapa
(SKAA-pa) Scapa was founded in 1885 on the shores of Scapa Flow near Kirkwall, making it one of Orkney’s long-established distilleries as well as one of the most northerly in Scotland. Scapa is one of only two distilleries on the island of Orkney, offering a stark contrast to its neighbour, Highland Park. Unlike the peated style of Highland Park, Scapa produces an unpeated whisky matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks, resulting in a lighter, creamier, and fruitier profile.
