Just 148 bottles were extracted from the single cask Roasebank. Blackadder RAW CASK is whisky as it always was. Whisky as it used to be. Every drop is "Whisky from the Old School". We wanted to bottle whisky as it would have been when served direct from the casks behind the bar in Scotland’s pubs one hundred years or so ago.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a honey-gold core, hinting at sherry warmth and old cask glow.
Nose
Green apple and pear mingle with lemon zest, honeyed barley, and delicate florals. A waxy, mineral tang grounds the aroma, while subtle oak and vanilla lend a refined, old‑school elegance.
Palate
Powerful yet refined, the palate unfurls with dark orchard fruits and citrus zest, lifted by sherry sweetness. Raisins, treacle, almonds and cocoa weave with peppery spice and oak. Silky texture gives way to a long, warming finish, leaving orange peel, nutty notes and a resolute old-cask warmth.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with warm spice and sherry-dark fruit. Dried fig and orange peel unfold into cacao and toasted almond, balanced by polished oak. A soft waxy mouthfeel lingers as vanilla fades, leaving a refined, enduring sweetness and a hint of resin that nods to the whisky’s old-school cask heritage.
