Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with rich mahogany edges and subtle ruby highlights.
Nose
Vanilla and creamy toffee form a rich, inviting nose, braided with dried apricot, raisin and fig and brightened by orange zest. Sherry cask influence adds cocoa, cinnamon and a whisper of nutmeg, while European oak delivers polished spice and a resinous lift. A soft grain sweetness underpins the fruit and oak, with Bourbon-vanilla notes lingering on the perfume.
Palate
Silky and powerful, this grain coats the mouth with a creamy, syrupy texture. Dried fruit—raisin and fig—meets vanilla, caramel and almond from bourbon and European oak. A gentle sherry lift adds cocoa, orange zest and spice, unfolding into a long, warm finish with toasted oak and a hint of walnut.
Finish
An elegant, lingering finish that warms and lengthens. Dried fruit and cocoa mingle with orange zest, while warm spice from the bourbon and a kiss of sherry oak fade into refined vanilla and oak tannins.
