Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with a coppery gloss and sun-warmed honey sheen.
Nose
Intense peat smoke with coastal iodine and sea spray, edged by a medicinal tang. Beneath, sherry-dark fruit—raisins and dark cherries—emerge with cocoa and vanilla, weaving a warm, resinous sweetness that lingers on the nose.
Palate
Coastal peat dominates the palate with medicinal smoke, iodine and sea spray, tempered by ash. Beneath, dark chocolate, toffee and orange zest weave with vanilla and spice. Silky and full-bodied, the finish lengthens into warm ember and a refined, lingering peat.
Finish
An enduring coastal peat finish, generously smoky and mineral, with iodine and sea spray notes weaving through the palate. Sherried sweetness—dark fruit, cocoa, and a whisper of vanilla—coats the mouth, then slowly dries to a salted, peppery finish that lingers long with charred oak.
