Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper highlights and honey-gold edges, a rich, sun-kissed glow in the glass.
Nose
Sea-salt and coastal brine perfume, bright citrus zest—lemon and orange—paired with honeyed orchard fruit. Rich sherry threads through toasted almond, fig and vanilla, while polished oak adds a creamy, resinous depth. A whisper of spice—cinnamon and ginger—lends warmth to a briny, coastal finish.
Palate
Bold and maritime on the palate, this single-cask highlights briny sweetness and sherry-driven depth. Dried fig and raisin mingle with cocoa, toffee, and toasted almond, while orange zest and spice lift the mid-palate. A voluptuous, velvety texture gives way to a long, warming finish from 58.7% ABV, with salt air, oak, and dark chocolate notes persisting.
Finish
An expansive, maritime finish that lingers with sea-salted sweetness and warming oak. Sherried depth emerges as dried fruit, fig and orange zest unfold, velvet cocoa notes curling through the palate. The long, briny tail slowly fades to a refined heat, leaving a citrus-tinged, caramel-spice echo.
