A blend of Single Malt Scotch Whiskies distilled on the islands of Scotland. To enhance the characteristics we love in coastal malts, the Mossburn Casks used were first fill ex-Bourbon barrels with toasted virgin European heads, to provide additional smoky spice.

Colour
Warm golden amber with a rich copper glow.
Nose
Coastal sea-salt and brine mingle with wisps of smoke, opening into vanilla from first-fill ex-Bourbon and toasted European oak. Toasted spice and a hint of citrus peel add depth, delivering a creamy, maritime aroma with smoky, island character.
Palate
Silky and coastal, Mossburn Island Blended Malt unfurls sea spray and a measured smoke across the palate. First-fill ex-Bourbon casks frame vanilla, caramel and toasted oak, while toasted European heads lend peppery, spicy lift. A citrus-bright mid gives way to a long, savory finish with maritime warmth and lingering smoke.
Finish
Coastal warmth lingers with vanilla from first-fill bourbon, layered with toasted European oak and a smoky, peppery spice. A saline sea-breeze note evolves into a long, ember-soft finish that gradually fades.
