This small batch, single malt whisky was aged in ex-Bourbon casks and finished in fortified style pomegranate wine casks for a period of six months. The unique pomegranate fruit offers this whisky Its exceptional flavors.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber with coppery highlights and a honey-gold, sunlit glow.

Nose

Ripe pomegranate leads, unlocking into vanilla, roasted coffee and butterscotch. A strong earthy core underpins, with hints of orris root, spearmint and freshly baked sour apple.

Palate

Juicy and mouthfilling, with crushed pomegranate grains and dried figs shaping a succulently fruity core. A bouquet of spicy-sour herbs threads through, lending brightness and a subtle tang that lingers.

Finish

Long and dry, the finish lingers with a subtle kiss of toasted oak, then gives way to a savory-sour note of sourdough pretzels, harmonizing with bright red-fruit echoes that leave a clean, refined finish.
