Israel's first whisky distillery Milk & Honey is located in one of Tel Aviv's most up and coming neighbourhoods. No expense spared is the mantra of Milk & Honey as they procure specially selected casks for their hot climate maturation process with perfection pursued at every aspect of the production process, showcased in the whisky itself.
Using Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks made especially for the distillery, the casks were filled with quality sherry for one year in Jerez and then brought to Israel to mature their new-make spirit for a wonderfully complex whisky - the first and only single malt in the world aged in kosher Sherry casks.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep mahogany amber with coppery highlights.
Nose
Dominant rich red fruit notes mingle with gentle oak, caramel and lemon freshness, delivering an inviting, bright nose with subtle sherry sweetness and a whisper of toasted spice.
Palate
Medium-bodied, the palate opens with light fruit sweetness and sherry-born richness. Ripe red fruits mingle with dark chocolate, supported by a gentle, evolving kiss of oak that carries through to a long, polished finish.
Finish
A long, resonant finish where dark chocolate lingers on the palate, slowly giving way to tobacco and warm oak.
