A limited annual release from the Midleton Very Rare series, this 2007 edition is a small-batch blend of carefully selected pot still and grain whiskeys, bottled at 40% ABV. Matured primarily in seasoned bourbon casks, it reflects the series’ focus on balance, elegance and consistency rather than heavy oak or spice.

Midleton
Midleton traces its story at the site in County Cork to 1825, when the distillery was acquired by the Murphy family, later becoming part of the Cork Distilleries Company. A major turning point came in 1966, when Cork Distilleries Company merged with John Power & Son and John Jameson & Son to form Irish Distillers, and in 1975 the new Midleton Distillery opened beside the old site, bringing Irish whiskey production from Dublin to Cork.
