Colour

Deep amber with coppery sheen and a warm honey-gold glow.

Nose

Orchard fruits—apple and pear—rise with creamy vanilla and honey, layered over polished oak. A touch of citrus zest and almond adds brightness, while a whisper of spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—enfolds the nose with warm, old-bottling depth.

Palate

Silky and refined, the palate opens with honeyed orchard fruits—apple and pear—balanced by vanilla and warm toffee. Gentle spice and toasted oak emerge, with a subtle citrus lift, and a creamy, lingering finish.

Finish

Silky, extended finish where orchard fruits and honey melt into toasted oak, vanilla and a kiss of sherry. Spices—cinnamon and nutmeg—linger, delivering refined warmth and a final, polished sweetness.

Bushmills traces its whiskey heritage to 1608, when King James I granted Sir Thomas Phillips a licence to distil in County Antrim. The Old Bushmills Distillery was formally registered in 1784 by Hugh Anderson, making it one of the most historic names in Irish whiskey. Production is centred in the village of Bushmills, close to the River Bush, with the distillery long associated with triple-distilled Irish whiskey made from malted barley.
