Palate

Silky and refined on the palate, it delivers creamy vanilla and honeyed barley, with orchard fruits—pear and apple—woven with a gentle citrus lift. Subtle oak spice and a whisper of nutmeg knit through a smooth, balanced mouthfeel, finishing with a warm, vanilla-laden glow.

Finish

Long, elegant finish with creamy vanilla and honey weaving into toasted oak, orange zest, and dried fruit; a gentle, warming spice that lingers softly on the palate.

Bushmills traces its whiskey heritage to 1608, when King James I granted Sir Thomas Phillips a licence to distil in County Antrim. The Old Bushmills Distillery was formally registered in 1784 by Hugh Anderson, making it one of the most historic names in Irish whiskey. Production is centred in the village of Bushmills, close to the River Bush, with the distillery long associated with triple-distilled Irish whiskey made from malted barley.
