Tasting Notes
Colour
Radiant deep amber-gold with coppery undertones and a honeyed glaze.
Nose
Oak-enriched, perfumed aromas rise with poached pear and caramelised apple, keen orange zest. Honeycomb and toasted hazelnut weave through as freshly roasted coffee beans emerge; fine-grained French oak elevates woodland spices, subtly amplifying pot-still character and floral grain notes into a poised, aged blend.
Palate
Herbal at first, fresh peppermint and sage weave through orchard fruits and zesty orange. Subtle oak tannins partner chocolate-dipped honeycomb and vanilla, delivering a luscious, silken texture. Elevated wood spices unfold, adding complexity to this intricate blend of Midleton pot still and grain whiskey.
Finish
Exquisitely long, the fruits and spices linger as the toasted French oak envelops them, weaving a refined harmony between Irish whiskey and its French cask finish.
