From deep beneath a Swedish mountain, Stjärnrök, arises into the heavens. Stjärnrök is nurtured from Mackmyra's handcrafted smoky recipes, and matured into its true form in a shelter of Oloroso, ex-bourbon and American oak casks, building its body, complexity and gentle sweetness.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold hues and a warm mahogany glow.
Nose
Cool peat smoke rises, wrapped in a satin of rich oak. Oloroso sherry sweetness threads through dark fruit, fig and treacle, while vanilla, toffee and almond from ex-bourbon and American oak lend warmth and elegance. A whisper of resin and a faint coastal salinity drift through, inviting slow, indulgent sips.
Palate
Smoky depth layers over a velvety, full-bodied palate. Oloroso sherry influence ushers dried fruit, toffee and dark chocolate, woven with vanilla and caramel from ex-bourbon and American oak. A gentle spice warms the mouth as lingering smoke completes a refined, long finish.
Finish
Long, smoky finish with a warm kiss of sherry sweetness. The Oloroso and ex-bourbon casks impart a resinous oak linger, while vanilla, dark cocoa and dried fruit weave with the smoke, fading to a gentle ember of spice.
