Tasting Notes
Colour
Sun-warmed amber-gold with coppery shimmer and a mahogany-tinged rim.
Nose
Opulent dark-fruit nose: fig and raisin with cocoa and orange zest, shaded by rich sherry oak. Notes of date, caramel and waxy vanilla mingle with leather and tobacco, touched by cinnamon and clove. A warm, resinous edge hints at smoke; at 61.8% ABV the aroma feels lush and concentrated, inviting a slow, thoughtful sip.
Palate
Powerful, cask-strength palate with rich dried fruit, fig and raisin, hints of dark chocolate and orange zest. Sherried sweetness deepens into spiced warmth—cinnamon, nutmeg, clove—carried on a velvety oak backbone. Waxier texture and a long, warming finish, leaving peppery spice and espresso-kissed notes lingering.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with sherried depth: dark fruits, fig and cocoa linger, tempered by orange zest and toasted oak. Warming spice - cinnamon and nutmeg - unfolds slowly, leaving a resinous sweetness and a final echo of espresso.
