Lochlea 7-Year-Old Single Malt Whisky is a limited-edition release and the distillery’s third — and oldest — age-stated expression to date. Matured exclusively in seven carefully selected first-fill Bourbon casks from 2018, it has been housed in traditional dunnage warehouses throughout its maturation.
Bottled at 50% ABV, non-chill filtered, and with no added colour, this whisky reflects Lochlea’s unwavering focus on quality and provenance.
On the nose, it reveals creamy, buttery aromas alongside fruity notes of stewed apples. The palate is rich and indulgent, offering tropical fruits, fresh oak, and a hint of apple. A long, satisfying finish follows, marked by buttery pastry, cereal tones, warming spice, and a touch of tart green apple.
