Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery glints and a warm honey-gold glow.
Nose
Delicate and alluring, the nose opens with orchard fruit: apple and pear, warming vanilla and honey, and a soft kiss of polished oak. Sherry-cask influence adds dried fig and raisin, toasted almond and a whisper of cocoa, all threaded with subtle spice and a citrus lift.
Palate
Silky and gently sherried on the palate, with dried fruits—raisins, fig and orange zest—alongside almonds, cocoa and vanilla. Subtle malt sweetness coats the tongue, lifted by refined spice and warm oak, finishing long with a soft malt echo.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish coats the palate with warm vanilla and toasted oak, then ripples into sherry-rich dark fruit—figs, raisins, cocoa—brightened by orange zest. Spices linger (cinnamon, clove) as a silky, honeyed warmth carries through to a softly resinous, lingering tail.
